Buzz Burner Auto Blogging Plugin

While searching for a new plugin with which to begin our renovated blog, I ran across Buzz Burner. I spent a few days setting it up to use on one of my other blogs, and found it to be quite good for what it purports to be – the next generation of Auto Blogging for WordPress users.

“Buzz Burner generates unique content that is actually relevant and readable and most importantly, content that visitors will come back to read again. Buzz Burner does not just scrape 1 entire post from one source and then dump an exact duplicate of it on your site! NO Buzz Burner takes many posts from a number of different sources, over a select time frame, and then consolidates the experts or snippets into 1 post to create a real-time, up-to-date overview of what’s going on in your niche.”

At first I had some reservations about this system of posting a collection of snippets, which are direct quotes from another website. Wan’t this duplicate content?

But then I realized that Google doesn’t have a penalty for duplicate content per se. In this case, value is provided by searching the internet, and compiling a list of snippets pertaining to the niche topic of the blog.

Setting up a Buzz Burner campaign takes some time, mainly in finding all the RSS feeds from which to pick your snippets. But once you’re done, it can create lots of automatic blog posts on a regular schedule, with little or no further effort. Take a look at my first try on the Tanning17 blog.

Since you’ve read this far, why don’t you go to the Buzz Burner website, and look at their promotional video. It will tell you a lot more about this cutting-edge plugin.

Update – November 09, 2014: The type of post created by the Buzz Burner software has become a valuable addition to three of my blogs. It’s a great way to keep my readers up-to-date on the latest news in their niche. However, after using it for a few months, I found myself doing a lot of rewriting, since BB would miss some good material, and would occasionally use irrelevant articles.

So I designed my own snippet template, and began to scan the RSS feeds by hand to pick the best articles to use in my posts. After a while, I became adept at finding my own material, and gave up using the BB software altogether. Buzz Burner is still an excellent tool to get you started on using this kind of blog post. Maybe I’m too “picky”, and you will find that it suits you just fine.
